LOS ANGELES — Sacramento Kings forward Zach Randolph has been charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession and resisting arrest following an incident this month when a large gathering became unruly at a Los Angeles housing project, prosecutors said Thursday.

Cliff Pennington hit a go-ahead grand slam in the seventh, Mike Trout reached base four times in his return to the lineup and Albert Pujols hit two homers to tie Jim Thome for seventh on the all-time list as the Angels completed a sweep of the A’s and stayed one game back of the Twins for the second Wild Card spot. The A’s looked good early, as they scored eight runs in the fourth inning, as Matt Olson and Bruce Maxwell each hit home runs.
